The Calling
God has called me to encourage and equip those healing from relational trauma through biblical truth, practical wisdom, and hope. Everything I create exists to help people move from surviving to genuine freedom while pointing them toward Christ.
What Exists Today
Today that ministry operates through LL Amherst, the pen name under which I write, teach, and publish resources. Some of those resources are offered for purchase, while others are provided freely. A privately owned LLC serves as the ministry's operational foundation, managing publishing, website infrastructure, and the day-to-day work required to faithfully steward what God has entrusted to me.
Why the Structure Exists
I write under the pen name LL Amherst for several reasons. Appropriate privacy remains a wise safeguard for my family, but the deeper reason is theological. I never wanted this ministry to become about me—or about the circumstances from which God rescued me. My testimony is part of the story, but it is not the story. The story is God's faithfulness.
Writing under a pen name helps keep the focus where I believe it belongs: on what God has done, what He continues to do, and the hope He offers every person who comes to Him. My prayer is that readers leave remembering Christ more clearly than they remember the name on the cover.
The Future Vision
The long-term vision extends beyond writing. My desire is to establish a nonprofit ministry that provides biblically grounded resources, encouragement, education, and practical support for individuals navigating relational and complex trauma, difficult divorce, coercive control, and restoration.
Today, the LLC serves as the operational foundation while God lays the groundwork for what I pray will one day become a sustainable ministry that serves others more broadly. The LLC is not the destination; it is the launchpad.
The Invitation
I am in a season where obedience has required remaining where I am rather than pursuing easier opportunities. My confidence is not that people will sustain this work, but that God will. My role is simply to remain faithful to what He has asked me to do.
If God places this ministry on your heart, I would be honored if you prayerfully considered becoming part of it.
Purchasing a book helps sustain one resource. Becoming a ministry partner helps sustain the mission behind every resource, allowing this work to continue far beyond what any single book could accomplish.
Everything produced through LL Amherst is made possible by those who choose to partner with this work. If you believe God is calling you to invest in this mission, I would be deeply grateful for your partnership. Your support enables me to continue creating books, teaching, and free resources today while laying the foundation for a ministry that, Lord willing, will one day serve many more people through a sustainable nonprofit devoted to restoration, hope, and biblical truth.
